Bible Study: The Life of Adam & Eve

You are welcome to our Bible study..🀝😁

πŸ™‡‍♂️Shall we pray: πŸ™‡‍♂️
Heavenly Father we say thank you for another wonderful opportunity to meet again, we thank you for your love and care, we receive openness to your word and let your word speak to our lives... In Jesus name we pray.. Amen.

*TOPIC*: THE LIFE OF ADAM AND EVE

*TEXT*: Gen 3:1-12
1 - Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 - And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 - But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 - And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 - For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6 - And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
7 - And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
8 - And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
9 - And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
10 - And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
11 - And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
12 - And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.

*MESSAGE*

πŸ“–The story of Adam and Eve, found in Genesis chapter 3, holds deep lessons for us about the consequences of disobedience and the hope of redemption.

πŸ“–In the beginning, God created Adam and Eve and placed them in the Garden of Eden, a paradise where they had everything they needed.

πŸ“– They were given one command - not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. As we all Know the story.

πŸ“– However, temptation came in the form of the serpent, who deceived Eve into doubting God's word and claiming that eating the forbidden fruit would make her wise.

πŸ“– Eve took a bite, and then Adam followed.

πŸ“–In that moment, sin entered the world, and their relationship with God was fractured.

πŸ“–As SMOBASAINTS, This story reminds us of the consequences of disobedience.

πŸ“–Adam and Eve's disobedience not only affected their personal relationship with God, but also brought sin, suffering, and death into the world.

πŸ“– They experienced shame and fear, and were banished from the Garden of Eden. We shall not be banished from God's presence in the mighty name of Jesus.

πŸ“– But even in the depths of their disobedience, there is a glimmer of hope.

πŸ“– In Genesis 3:15, God promises that He will send a Savior who will crush the head of the serpent, foreshadowing the coming of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah.πŸ™Œ

πŸ“– This promise reminds us as SMOBASAINTS, that even in our brokenness, *God has a plan for redemption*.

πŸ“– As we reflect on the story of Adam and Eve, we are reminded of the power of temptation and the importance of obedience to God's commands.

πŸ“– It highlights the need for us to be vigilant against the schemes of the enemy and to hold fast to God's truth.

πŸ“– My fellow, brothers, as SMOBASAINTS, Let us learn from the the mistakes of Adam and Eve, turning towards God in repentance and embracing His offer of grace and redemption.

πŸ“– Through Jesus Christ, we have the opportunity to be reconciled with God, to receive forgiveness for our sins, and to experience the restoration of our relationship with Him. (Salvation) if you have not given Your life to Jesus, this is the best opportunity to be reconciled. Kindly pour your heart unto Jesus and be reconciled unto Him.πŸ™

πŸ“–The grace to live above sin, and be totally submitted to God we receive in Jesus name.

πŸ™‡‍♂️ *Shall we pray*;
Heavenly Father we want to say thank you for your promises in the word, we receive the spirit of obedience, and the grace to always abide by your instructions, we receive.

πŸ“–Thank you for answering our prayers.. in Jesus name we pray.. Amen.
Thank you for your time, until we meet again next week, do remember that Jesus loves you. Keep winning as *SMOBASAINTS*🀝

Bible Study: Power of Vision

You are welcome to our Bible study..🀝😁

πŸ™‡‍♂️Shall we pray: πŸ™‡‍♂️
Heavenly Father we say thank you for another wonderful opportunity to meet again, we thank you for your love and care, we receive openness to your word and let your word speak to our lives... In Jesus name we pray.. Amen.

 *TOPIC* POWER OF VISION

 *TEXT:* Gen 13:14-15

And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.
 *Genesis 13:14-15*

 *MESSAGE:*
πŸ‘‘ What is not in your mind cannot be found in your life.

πŸ‘‘In our anchor Scripture, we find a profound truth that has shaped the course of human history.

πŸ‘‘ In Genesis 13:14-15, God speaks to Abraham, saying, "Look from the place where you are... as far as your eyes can see..."

πŸ‘‘This divine mandate is not just a physical directive but a spiritual imperative. It is an invitation to gaze beyond the present moment, to envision a future that transcends our current circumstances, and tap into the limitless possibilities that lie within us.

πŸ‘‘what then is vision?Vision is the spark that sets the flame of possibility ablaze.

πŸ‘‘ It is the catalyst that propels us from the realm of mere existence to the realm of purpose.

πŸ‘‘In today’s study, we shall explore the power of vision using some scriptural examples.
Scriptural Example of People Who Started with Vision and Ended with Manifestations:

πŸ‘‘. Abraham (Genesis 13:14-15)

The geographical territory of what is called Israel today was what Abraham saw and took delivery of, passing it down to his children and descendants.

πŸ‘‘ If you start with vision, you must end with possession.

πŸ‘‘ Joseph (Genesis 37:3-9).
Joseph saw the palace before he reached it. He saw himself in authority and in charge of people and things.

πŸ‘‘ Beloved, where you see yourself today, determines where you will find yourself tomorrow.

πŸ‘‘David (1 Samuel 17:45-51).

David killed Goliath in his vision before he killed him with his action.

πŸ‘‘He had no sword in his hand when he saw himself cutting the head of Goliath.
As far as I am concerned, David saw the whole process:

πŸ‘‘ He saw himself catapulting the man.

πŸ‘‘ He saw the man crashing.

πŸ‘‘He saw himself running to where the man was.

πŸ‘‘He saw himself taking the man's sword and
Cutting off his head.

πŸ‘‘As SMOBASAINTS, When the picture is clear, the venture is there.

πŸ‘‘ That's why i want us all to go through our vision and mission statement to see if we are ruining with the mission.

πŸ‘‘ David could venture because he carried a picture. So where are we seeing ourselves in 5 years from now.

πŸ‘‘Beloved, what is not in your mind cannot be found in your life.

πŸ‘‘Some people wait for things to happen by chance, no!

πŸ‘‘ Things don’t happen by chance; they happen by force, and it is by the force of vision.

πŸ‘‘ Remember; What is not in your mind cannot be in your life.

πŸ‘‘Vision is key to elevation. Where you see yourself today determines where you will find yourself tomorrow.

πŸ‘‘ Look beyond your present circumstances; let the Word of God open your eyes of faith to the realm of His possibilities.

πŸ‘‘ Fill your mind with limitless possibilities from God for your life and destiny.

πŸ‘‘ No one can achieve his vision, except he be helped, and remember, it is the spirit that quickens, the flesh profits nothing. if you want to give your life to Jesus Christ kindly say this short prayer.. Lord Jesus have mercy upon me, wash me clean and make me thine, from today i accept you as my Lord and personal saviour, thank you for answering my prayer, in Jesus name...Amen.

πŸ‘‘ If you have said that prayer, congratulation, you are now a child of God. Find a Bible believing church nearest to you and worship with them. Make it a lifestyle to live the word of God.

πŸ‘‘ *PRAYER:* πŸ™‡‍♂️
Father, thank You for Your Word to me today. Help me to picture a future that transcends my current circumstances, and to tap into the limitless potential that lies within me, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

πŸ‘‘Thank you for your time, until we meet again next week, do remember that Jesus loves you. Keep winning as *SMOBASAINTS*🀝

SMOBA SAINTS HANGOUT - TANSI EVENT CENTRE

The recently concluded Smoba Saints Hangout at the TANSI Event Centre in Jos, Plateau State was a refreshing and inspiring gathering that brought members together in an atmosphere of unity, reflection, and brotherhood. It provided a much-needed opportunity for old boys to reconnect, share ideas, and reaffirm their commitment to the collective progress of all Smobans.

During the discussions, members expressed deep appreciation for the creation of the Saints group and the remarkable strides it has already made. Many highlighted how the platform has become a source of strength offering prayers, encouragement, and support for members’ success, growth, and personal development. The sense of family and genuine concern for one another was strongly acknowledged and celebrated.

Members also emphasized that the group must continue to excel by remaining purposeful, supportive, and forward-thinking. Suggested ways forward included building stronger communication channels, organizing more physical and virtual engagements, exploring mentorship opportunities for younger members, and creating systems that promote professional and personal development for all.

A key point raised during the hangout was the need for harmony with the main parent SMOBA body. Members agreed that for us to grow as one united family, differences must be resolved with maturity, dialogue, and mutual respect. Aligning our objectives and working closely with the main body will ensure that the vision of SMOBA remains strong, inclusive, and progressive for every member, regardless of subgroup.

In conclusion, the hangout reaffirmed our shared commitment to unity, growth, and excellence. The energy, ideas, and brotherhood displayed at the event give us confidence that Smoba Saints will continue to shine as a pillar of support, progress, and purposeful connection.

Together we rise, together we grow.
