The current Principal, Father Choji, invited SMOBA Saints executives to come speak with the current students in the school. On Friday October 6th 2023 the executives were welcomed to the assembly hall where the students were already assembled and waiting.
Even though the focus was strictly on graduating students, the principal was of the opinion of informing and educating all the students to be in preparation and anticipation of joining when they graduate.
Anthony Onuche led the Opening Prayer, and following talking points were introduced and presented:
1. Introduction of SMOBA SAINTS
2. Background of SMOBA SAINTS
3. Who founded it and why
4. Aims and objectives
5. The difference between SMOBA main body and SMOBA SAINTS
6. The importance of being members and the benefits
7. They were all encouraged to join SMOBA main body when they are graduates and all believers to join both SMOBA main body and SMOBA SAINTS and stating the importance.
8. We concluded by encouraging them all to love one another and work hard in their academics to stand out in order to be good ambassadors of St. Murumba College Jos when they are graduates.
They were very happy and pleased having the executives around. A representative of the students and the school guidance and counselor appreciated the team for coming to share and encourage the students to be part of something meaningful and impactful. The closing prayer was led by Deshe Christopher Hannaniah.
